What we keep, and what we do not

This site asks for two things, and only when you ask for the sheets: your name and your email address. It keeps nothing else about you.

Your address goes on one list, kept at Buttondown, which sends the weekly letter. Your name goes with it so the letter can open with it. The sheets themselves are sent once, by Resend, as a link. Those two companies hold the data on our behalf and do nothing else with it.

Nothing is sold, rented or traded. Nobody else is given the list. There is no advertising on this site and no tracking that follows you off it. The site counts visits the way a shop counts the door, in aggregate, with no record of who you are.

To leave, use the link at the bottom of any letter. It ends the letter that same day. To have your name and address removed entirely, reply to any letter and say so. It is done by hand within a week.
